Feeling north star

Two feelings, two audiences
Section titled “Two feelings, two audiences”- 😊 (the logo / mission): the emotional outcome participants create for their customers — a product that feels good. The mark points at the goal of the work.
- Grounded clarity → confidence (the north star): what participants themselves feel while using ProductFeeling. This describes the experience of doing the work.
Do not conflate them: the logo is not a claim that the tool is “cheery.” The rest of this doc is about the participant north star.
Primary feeling
Section titled “Primary feeling”Grounded clarity — the participant can clearly name how their product feels and why, standing on real evidence (the surface, the flow, named techniques) rather than vibes. Confidence is the earned residue: being grounded and clear is what makes the next move — ship, change, or hand off — feel obvious.
- Grounded counters blocked: there is always footing and a next move.
- Clarity counters overwhelmed: the fog resolves into something named and actionable.
- Confidence is the after, not a feeling to manufacture during the work.
Never feel
Section titled “Never feel”- Blocked — setup, missing docs, or ceremony must not stop a scoped review of material they already provided.
- Overwhelmed — no full-handbook dumps, docs kitchen-sink, or competing sources of truth; load depth selectively.
Audience emotional jobs
Section titled “Audience emotional jobs”- Before: Uncertainty — “it just feels off,” no shared language.
- During: Grounded clarity — structured, evidence-based review; selective depth.
- After: Confidence — ready to ship, change, brief craft, or update docs.
